Description
This course consists of 5 modules covering the GSAS Outdoor Environment category and its criteria. Impacts resulting from ineffective control and design of the outdoor environment include air pollution and human comfort and health degradation. Measures that could improve outdoor environmental quality during the construction process include, minimizing the level of dust and fine particulates produced on-site, minimizing the amount of noise generated due to construction activities, reducing the vibration impacts from different construction equipment, minimizing light pollution and negative visual impacts and minimizing odor and reducing level of VOC emissions in the air.
