This course consists of 5 modules covering the GSAS Management & Operations category and its criteria. Environmental impacts resulting from ineffective construction site management and operations include, materials depletion, land use and contamination, human health & safety risks and reduced comfort and wellbeing. Factors that could mitigate environmental impact include, planning and implementing sustainable management of waste, providing appropriate facilities for the welfare of workers and staff on-site, ensuring health and safety of workforce by providing necessary facilities, developing plans and management systems and the use of GSAS certified workers accommodation.
