Description
This course consists of 16 modules covering the GSAS Site category and its criteria. Sustainable landscaping and site design practices can improve the quality of the existing site and landscape and minimize impacts on the surrounding environment including: climate change, fossil fuel depletion, water depletion and pollution, air pollution, land use and contamination, and human comfort and health.
Objective
The Site [S] category is concerned with the design of the proposed development having a direct impact on both the site of the development itself as well as any adjacent sites.
