Building commissioning (Cx) is a process to verify all, or a number of the subsystems for electromechanical, plumbing, fire/life safety, building envelope, interior systems, utility plants, lighting, wastewater, controls and building security to achieve tHe project requirements as determined by the development owner and the consultant design team. Commissioning is quality-focused and necessary in construction projects as it ensures that systems are planned, designed, installed, tested for future operation and to work to the best of their ability.
